Full Moon Gatherings - free

Once in the month,
and better it be when the Moon is full ...

The Temple of the Dark Moon will be hosting four Full Moon Gatherings in the Botanic Park - this is next to the Botanical Gardens where WomAdelaide is held.

Regardless of whether you are new to Paganism and the Craft, are curious as to what exactly Pagans do, or have been follower of the Old Ways for a number of years, the aim of these Gatherings is to create a friendly environment to meet like minded people, share knowledge, and generally for all participants to have a good time.

All the Temple of the Dark Moon asks is that you come with an open mind and mutual respect for other participants.

The dates are:
July - Thursday, 17 July at 7.45pm (Actual date of the Full Moon: Friday, 18 July at 5.29pm)

August - Saturday, 16 August at 7.45pm (Actual date of the Full Moon: Sunday, 17 August at 6.46am)

September - Saturday, 13 September at 7.45pm (Actual date of the Full Moon: Monday, 15 September at 6.43pm)

October - Tuesday, 14 October at 7.45pm (Actual date of the Full Moon: Wednesday, 15 October at 6.32am)

Venue:
The venue for the Full Moon Gatherings will in Botanic Park (with the meeting place being at the Conservatory Gate of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens (about 400 metres up Plane Tree Drive from Hackney Road).

What the Gatherings will consist of:
Each Gathering will be unique in its structure and content. Depending on the experience of participants, the Gatherings could include formal circle casting (from various Pagan traditions), invocation of elemental quarters, invocation to a specific Lunar Deity, meditation, chanting, energy raising techniques, dancing and a lot more. Contributions from those participating is encouraged.

What to bring:
Yourself, an open mind and a willingness to participate. As these Gatherings will be held in public places - normal street clothing is more than appropriate. On occasions due to the weather, these gatherings may be cancelled.
