Runesmisstress is present!

Good Evening all and Merry Meet,

Thank you for letting me join this growing community, it is looking good so far. Here is a little about myself for all to read.
From very young I have always questioned the religion my parents brought me up in which was COE, my mother a Methodist and my Father COE. They would put me Sunday School and finally the teachers asked my parents not to bring me in any more as I was disruptive and kept on falling asleep in class... lol. What they called disruptive was me asking questions they did not have answers for and when they were not answered I lost interest and fell asleep.
When I was in my late teens I discovered those runes I had found out about at my mothers knee when I was about 8 listening to her read the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings were actually real. A friend of mine had a boyfriend who was just getting into them. He let me pick up his runes and from that moment I knew I was destine to have my own set. I even went so far to find a Rune Master who I will not mention what he called himself, as our parting was because I felt uncomfortable with him. I think it was because I was very young and still unsure about myself, I have never liked being touched not that he went any further then patting me on the knee. He gave me a set of Rune Cards which I do Runic Chakra readings from but have not used them in a while. Okay aside from Runes which I read, through out my life things have happened around me. I have seen so many spirits and seen Auras and even stupidly enough Channeled (Not an experience that I would repeat again unless in a controlled environment).
Through out all this I have always believed in a Goddess and have felt her all around me and within me. Up until probably last year at the beginning I did not know that my beliefs meant that I followed Wicca and that there also was a God...lol, but that connected with my beliefs. I would not say that I am Wicca through and through as something even in Wicca does not gel with me, so call me a Neo Pagan if you will with spatterings of other things...lol.
On a physical and personal level, I am a Mother of two beautiful children. We live with their father whom I am not married too although we are engaged in WA. I have connected with so many people of like mind through the net as none of my friends have the same beliefs as I do. And so I do my rituals at home by myself a solitary practioner learning as I go.

This forum has a lovely feeling about it.
